| Born in Poland, Anetta received her diploma in makeup at the School of Theatrical, Movie and Television Production Engineering in 1999. After immigrating to the U.S. shortly thereafter, she quickly found work as a freelance makeup artist for Chanel and Christian Dior. At the same time, she continued her studies at Hunter College, and in 2004 received a B.A. cum laude with a double major in studio art and political science. One day on a photo shoot in Ecuador, a modeling agent noticed Anetta’s vivacious personality and fluency in both Polish and Russian, and he asked her to work for him as a scout. Her warmth, linguistic ability, and excellent eye turned out to be the perfect combination of skills, and soon she was recruiting models in Poland, The Czech Republic and Slovakia. Anetta’s model scouting also broadened her contact with photographers and magazine editors, and they continued to use her expertise as a makeup artist when needed. Anetta loves the artistry inherent to applying makeup, whether it’s a barely-there look or a dramatic high-fashion effect. Over the years, she has also developed a keen interest in photography and production, and seeks to expand her knowledge and training in this medium as well. In her free time, Anetta enjoys tennis and traveling. |
